The company said the figure was a 33 percent increase from the previous year. It added that more than half of the over 1.8 million electric vehicles Tesla globally delivered last year came from the Shanghai plant. Capable of producing a car in less than 40 seconds, Tesla's localization rate of car components used in the Shanghai factory has exceeded 95 percent. In 2023, Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai delivered more than 600,000 electric vehicles to the Chinese market. Tesla has kept revving up investment in Shanghai in recent years. A report issued by the ministry on Friday said that traffic safety has become the focus of Tunisians' attention, as traffic accidents have caused huge losses of life and property to the country. According to the report, as of Dec. 23, 2022, the ministry registered a total of 5,353 traffic accidents throughout the year, an increase of 7 percent over 2021. It also registered a total of 1,014 people killed and 5,353 injured in traffic accidents.
